Pendarvis is a cluster of Cornish miners' stone cottages in Mineral Point—preserved since the 1830s lead rush brought Cornish workers to Wisconsin. When lead mining declined, the Cornish left, but their stone buildings remained. Now a Wisconsin Historical Society site.
