Antelope was a tiny ranching town of 40 people—until the Rajneesh cult arrived. The Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh's followers built a city, took over local government, and renamed the town 'Rajneesh.' They poisoned salad bars and attempted assassination. After the cult's collapse in 1985, the name reverted. Population: ~45.
