Success

A Town Named Success

State: New Hampshire County: Coos County Founded: 1773 Abandoned: Semi-ghost Peak Population: 50+

Success was named by surveyors who thought the area would be 'a success' for settlers. It never was. The township has always been sparsely populated and has no municipal services. A hiking trail passes through, but almost no one lives there.
