Relocated for Franklin Falls Dam flood control

Old Hill Village was flooded repeatedly by the Pemigewasset River—then the federal government relocated the ENTIRE TOWN for a flood control dam in 1941. The original village site is now part of the Franklin Falls Dam reservoir. Some foundations visible at low water.
