Elkinsville

Elkinsville was a quiet valley community that was seized by imminent domain to create the Lake Monroe reservoir. Although the lake waters never actually covered the town site itself, the access roads were flooded, and the buildings were razed. It remains a nostalgic 'ghost' for locals.
