The Koreshan Unity was a utopian cult that believed we live INSIDE a hollow Earth. Cyrus Teed ('Koresh') led followers to Florida in 1894 to build their 'New Jerusalem.' They practiced celibacy—which meant no new members. The last four donated the property to Florida in 1961. Now a state park.
