Harmony was a dairy town that peaked at about 100 residents. As dairy operations consolidated, the population dwindled to just 18 people at one point. Today, a handful of artists and businesses occupy the old creamery buildings, making Harmony a popular stop on scenic Highway 1.

Dairy Days

The Harmony Valley Creamery Association operated here, processing milk from surrounding ranches. The town grew around the creamery.

Tourist Stop

When the creamery closed, artists moved in. Today, Harmony offers pottery, a wedding chapel, and wine tasting in its restored buildings.
