Concrete Ghost

State: Arkansas County: Clark County Founded: 1907 Abandoned: 1950s Peak Population: 1,000

Graysonia was a major lumber town. Unlike most, the mill foundations were built of massive poured concrete, which remain starkly visible in the regrown forest. The town slowly died out as timber resources were exhausted.
